My brother in law.

When I was young, I was invited every summer to Chuck & Linda's house. I was able to stay there and visit with them and my niece and nephew. They took me to the parks, swimming, eating out and we had many great times together. Charlie had a sense of humor and was always teasing me about how much Bedford was than Linton. When I was older and got married, they allowed Richard and I to move in with them for a short time. Charlie helped Richard find a job at his shop and they helped us find a place to live on our own. Charlie had a love of cars and he gave us a Nova Super sport car at that time too. I know that car was special to him but he sacrificed it for us. Charlie had a love of cats. Where ever he moved, I always remember he had a cat. They might not have socialized well with others. However, they always loved him. He had one without a tail, and his last one open and shut the bedroom door. It didn't matter where you went, he always asked how you got there. It didn't matter what route you took, he always knew one that was better. ;) He had such a great sense of humor and a special laugh. He was able to laugh at things that happened to him or various circumstances. Charlie loved to fish & my mom and dad loved to go to Florida with Linda and him and fish off of varies piers and bridges. Charlie took Brian, Jessee, Miranda & I out into the gulf fishing and we had a really good time. Charlie & Linda rode on motorcycles and traveled all over the states. When Brian and I went to Florida to visit. He gave Brian and me a motorcycle bag to carry our things in when we traveled because we had started traveling the states on our motorcycle too. Charlie loved my sister and took care of her and the kids very well. Charlie was very active in the church in Columbus. Linda and him had a lot of love in their heart for God, each other, and others. It's ironic that later in life, my daughter Stacey and my grandson Michael ended up staying with them too. When they were in a period of uncertainty and in need of a place to stay. There is no doubt in my mind where Charlie is today."I know he is up there with that great crowd of witnesses that are cheering us on." Hebrews 12:1 Love you Charlie. May need to stay with you again in the Pearly. Your place may be bigger than mine.
